This had a clear effect on Bill, as he began to get angry and act cruelly towards others, including his best friend, Phillip.Jimmy Fitzsimmons is Bill's bully who enjoys tormenting him, making Bill fear him. This caused Jimmy to be sent to military school, giving Bill more confidence without him around. Later, he confronts Big Bill about this incident and tells him it was his fault and that he instigated the fight.As revenge for this incident, Bill sucker punches Jimmy at school. In spite of their animosity towards one another, Bill still helped Jimmy out by taking him to the hospital when he was the victim of a hit and run by Bill's boss, Randy.William was born three years after his older brother, Kevin.In season 4, we see that Jimmy still considers Bill a friend, even calling him his best friend at one point.
