Our modern facilities, warm staff, and exhilarating locale rich with both culture and world-class cuisine are the backdrop for an unforgettable All-In Luxury® escape. It’s a decent buffet, but some guests get tired of eating there every day. We didn't get our room cleaned until 4.30 one evening, 2 evenings it was just before 5 and on the fourth evening my husband called housekeeping at 4.15 to ask when our room was being cleaned as we wanted to eat early, she said she would look into it, at 6.15 he called again to ask what was going on as we had no fresh towels as we didn't get clean ones the night before, again he was told they would look into what had happened. Simple coffeemakers are also standard, as well as minibars stocked with soda, water, and beer. Royalton Saint Lucia offers guests an exclusive vacation experience upon upgrade to Diamond Club™. Regular cleaning around the hotel needs more attention to detail, finger prints up the escalator glass is an example and with that amount of staff this really should be perfect. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout, and there’s free parking on-site. The resort offers access to a broad stretch of white-sand beach overlooking a picturesque cove. The accommodation offers a children's playground. No audio dock in the room as mentioned and maintenance in the room never quite happened after requesting twice. Wedding planning services are available, and the resort has a lovely rooftop terrace that can be used for ceremonies. Service was excellent, everyone very friendly, food was amazing and resort itself beyond beautiful. Nestled in the lush landscapes set upon one of the most picturesque islands in the Caribbean, Royalton Saint Lucia welcomes each guest on a vacation in upscale style and comfort. Frosted glass doors with graceful branch patterns open to reveal huge, walk-in showers with twin rainfall showerheads, and sliding wooden doors conceal bathrooms. The only issue we had was with housekeeping our second week. Standard rooms overlook the grounds, and guests may hear some noise from the nightly shows hosted at the outdoor amphitheater. The bar staff were amazing but sometimes could have been done with more staff.
The all-inclusive package covers beach activities like kayaking and beach volleyball. The long beachfront pool has an infinity edge overlooking the sands, along with submerged loungers, a swim-up bar, and a separate hot tub. Luxury Junior Suites, the standard room category, feature seating areas with sofa beds and work desks. The spa carries product lines like Babor and Amika, with services including massages, as well as facial and body treatments. The Royalton is set in a fairly remote coastal location, a 10-minute drive from the bars, restaurants, and shops of Rodney Bay. All in all we had a great holiday at this resort. What does, however, make the dining options at the Royalton stand out is thoughtful design and high-quality food. It’s even better when they’re describing a picture-perfect resort in the Caribbean. The only issue we had was with housekeeping our second week. The resort never felt like it was full but had been at 98% when we were there. This premium level of service features the comfort of anticipatory service, exclusive á la carte restaurants and bar areas, as well as the shimmering pool and pristine beach areas for the sole use of Diamond Club™ guests. Diamond Club guests have access to a fourth, private pool located near the Diamond Club reception area. My room at the Royalton Saint Lucia Resort & Spa was a luxury junior open-plan one bedroom suite with a balcony ocean view. At this point we decided that we weren't in the mood to go out so ordered food from the tv and a couple of minutes later got a phone call to confirm our order, we were told it would take 45mins - we never received it. The resort’s 352 guest rooms are a study in modern style, offering open-concept bathrooms and plenty of tech features. As per previous reviews, the service at the restaurants was a bit erratic, sometimes you had to wait a long time for your food to come and the same with your drinks.
The resort also features nightly shows, which are hosted in a sleek, open-air amphitheater. The bar staff were amazing but sometimes could have been done with more staff.
