Walker, who has been the lead homicide detective since 2011, said he first seriously pondered retirement during a period when Tulsa saw a combined 164 homicides in 2016 and 2017. Tulsa homicide detectives said after re-examining evidence and talking with more witnesses, they identified the two men responsible for shooting and killing O'Neal's son, Tyler Gragg.
