I do always top with a gloss as I like a shiny lip, but they don't need it if you don't want to wear one. The lipstick is creamy, stays on through eating and drinking, never dries out or gets flakey like other brands.I'll start by saying I am not a Kim Kardashian fan, so I had no existing hopes or expectations around this product. And my lips felt softer after it wore away and even a bit plusher. All in all, Ulta Juice Infused Lip Oil was a very pleasant formula. I expressed a good deal of disappointment with Milani’s formula when it originally launched but Ulta succeeded very well at creating an excellently formulated oil that shows the characters of both a hydrating lip oil as well as the shine and texture of a lipgloss.Ugh! The formula applies like lipgloss that resembles a thinner version of the old Too Faced Mirror Mirror Lipgloss but as it warms up it becomes a little bit more oily.
It is opaque with one swipe, rich color, feels creamy on the lips yet doesn't transfer very much and it lasts until you wipe it off. I know it is for me!I am a red lipstick lover and very picky: this lipstick is in the top of my list next to Tom Ford, Lancome, Kosas and the new Gucci Satin lipstick. Also have a nude and pink. Super hydrating and long lasting. LOL!
I just prefer a glossy lip look and this formula is perfect as an overcoat to add a glass-like shine to my favorite lip color while keeping my lips pleasantly hydrated. … TOO much matte I def like glossy! I also bought the matching lip liner.
I would've given this 5 stars but the smell is cheap and smells like pure plastic. The color is bright and true but not clownish. The texture is a thicker but comfortable to wear gloss formula that has a slightly oily texture that isn’t sticky nor tacky on my lips. I love this lipstick.
