Francis Albert Sinatra (December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998) was an American singer, actor, and producer who was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century.

Once again, this is like a time capsule, a fantastic moment in time perfectly preserved.I have never been able to find any significant list ofaudiophile quality recordings with details, so I decided to make one.

This fantastic work was recorded in 1966, the year of Frank's 50th birthday. And I believe it, as this whole affair sounds incredible. I am reviewing CD-quality files. There are a lot of instruments playing here, more than a typical pop/rock concert would today–and all of them come through to us in pristine space and sound.

He was quite adept at improvisation and was unafraid of drawing upon rock...The story goes that Sinatra spared no expense making the album, even going so far as to have a top sound man in the business go out to The Sands Casino ahead of time to install his own, better quality recording equipment. Sinatra at the Sands is a live album by Frank Sinatra accompanied by Count Basie and his orchestra, and conducted and arranged by Quincy Jones, recorded live in the Copa Room of the former Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in 1966. There is a natural energy in the sound that is difficult to describe.By Thurman GreenFormat: Dance of the Night Creatures is only available on CD, as far as I know. The low end is right where it should be, as this was never a bass-fest.

Later, it was remastered and issued on DVD-A and CD. And we're talking a spectrum that reaches from Pink Floyd to Hank Williams. Very few live albums come even close to what they accomplished with this recording. I havespent many hours, taking note of the best sounding tracks in my collection, looking for the very best listening experience.  When I listen to thesetracks, I get the best of both worlds, music that moves me in the mostfaithful, realistic, and complete listening experience possible. The Background. Originally recorded in 1966, this album remains the definitive Sinatra live experience with the backing of a full orchestra. I am reviewing CD files. But make no mistake, the bass is present, natural, and appropriately represented throughout the show. Stream ad-free with Amazon Music Unlimited on mobile, desktop, and tablet.

Please see this post for more thoughts on formats.The...My name is Sam and I am an audiophile.  Some people seem tohave the wrong idea about audiophiles.  They think we only care aboutsound quality, that it is more important to us to show off our system with demotracks than to enjoy the music itself.  This is simply untrue.  Thinkabout it:  why would anyone take the time and money to put together anincredible listening experience if they didn’t even care about music in the firstplace?

He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
